Beautiful antique Tirschenreuth hand painted orange tulips decorative plate with gold gild.
The bottom has three sets of marks: the green under glaze PT crowned shield with Bavaria and laurel leaves was used by Tirschenreuth from 1927 - 1947; the word "Handpainted" & "BAVARIAN CHINA written in green script on green ribbon over the glaze; and 3017 46 over the glaze. Signed by the artist: “Macon.”
Measuring approx 8 1/2” this piece is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing and the gold trim looks very good with some minor wear.
