This is a beautiful vintage hand painted candy dish or trinket bowl that is turquoise and varying shades of brown and gray marbled effect with a brass foot, scalloped edge, gold trim, and an iridescent finish.
Delftware, also known as Delft Blue, is a general term for Dutch tin-glazed earthenware, a form of pottery. Marked on the bottom saying “Handpainted Delftware; with brass accents; needs” and the rest unfortunately. “Made by W. Bomas Leersum-Holland”.
No cracks or chips but does have some very slight wear of the gold for its age. Measuring 3 3/8” tall, 6” diameter, and a 3” base.
