Chinese Miniature Folding Screen Painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" (清明上河图).

Lacquered wooden screens measures 9.5" tall and 18" wide (when fully expanded). Perfect condition. Amazing color and details as shown in the pictures.

Along the River During the Qingming Festival is one of China's most famous masterpieces. It is a long handscroll painting (手卷) created by Northern Song Dynasty artist Zhang Zeduan (张择端, around 1085–1145). The original is about 24.8 cm high and 528 cm long, painted on silk with light colors. The painting shows a prosperous, peaceful era with over 800 figures, animals, vehicles, boats, markets, and architecture — it's like a detailed "panoramic photo" of 12th-century urban life.
