Early 19th century Victorian French hand made wire garden basket, planter

What a wonderful find! This is a Early 19th Century French Victorian hand made garden basket or planter. You can use it for so much more. I placed fruit in it so you can get a general idea how stylish this is. This amazing piece appears to have been painted at some point with a brass or gold paint, but this does not hurt the look or value. This measures 15 inches by 13 inches at the top and stands around 7 1/2 inches tall. This is a sturdy heavy gage wire. And has some weight to it.
In the photos you will see some of the footing has been pushed in. This can be fixed and I will let the new owner decide if they want to fix or not. This is an incredible example of the time period. Look at all the photos and ask any questions if you have any.
