A beautiful 1930s Scandinavian style brooch that makes me think of Denmark's Georg Jensen's early designs. The flowing lines and natural subject matter of Art Nouveau period design are present throughout. A dimensional piece, the brooch measures 2 1/8" wide x 1 5/8" high x 1/2" deep. Marked on the reverse "Sterling" and weighs a substantial 21.3 grams. In very nice vintage condition and the locking pin mechanism is in good working order.
