Maredsous is a Benedictine monastery in Belgium that licenses its name to Duvel Moortgat Brewery, which produces and distributes three types of Maredsous beer. The beer is made with respect for the Benedictine tradition, and a portion of the profits is donated to charity.
The mark on the bottom of the item is the brewery's "W" logo. Maredsous also produces cheese and sausage to accompany its beers.
