The free opal sample mentioned in the title, will be a small piece of honey matrix which is found in Andamooka, SA Australia, and was mined by 'The Mooka Boys" from the hit tv series "Outback Opal Hunters". You'll be able to view beautiful traces of opal not visible without the use of a magnifier. This item is endorsed, recommended, and used by myself. (JC) Perfect for looking at opal or any other intricate patterned gemstone or crystal. Traditional jewellers loupe’s don't have the option of an LED light, and that's what makes this a fantastic product. It clearly illuminates the item you're viewing, and that's important to see for example, if the opal has good play of colour, imperfections, cracks or sand spots. The photograph of the coin, (5p) are taken with an iPhone 15 pro positioned over the magnifying glass lens (see photo) This is possible with a steady hand, or even try a tripod to capture clear close up images.
