This is a Royal Doulton "Charles Dickens" vintage character jug. It was first introduced in 1991. Item number is D6901. It's from the series RDICC. This jug is part of an existing collection that pays tribute to one of the foremost icons of the 18th century Most of us have watched "Oliver Twist and A Christmas Carol" classic movies. Those amazing movies were inspired by directors who read the books by Charles Dickens. This incredible piece has Charles Dickens face. The hair and beard are colored salt and pepper style black and white. Dickens He has a dark green dress jacket, orange tie and white shirt. The handle has a feathered pen; ink and books Dickens used for creating. This Charles Dickens character jug was made available in a limited edition of 7,500. This jug is number 2656. It was designed by William K Harper. The collection commemorates the events, milestones and achievement of Dickens. This jug is in mint condition. It's 4" tall. Certificate included but no box.
