Nkuku Photo Album

Bought as a gift some time ago. A lovely album, we just won't use it. Please note this does have some imperfections to the leather as shown in the images. The close ups of the paper are just to show the composition. From the website.... Nkuku beautiful photo albums are handmade from leather by a co-operative of 40 families using traditional methods. The leather is dyed using natural tree bark and vegetable extract. It features recycled cotton paper and naturally tanned leather. These albums are also very popular as sketch books. Our photograph albums are filled with beautiful handmade paper, created from pieces of recycled cotton rag. This ancient paper making skill has been passed on through generations. Cotton paper has the additional benefit of being tree free as no wood pulp is used. Each sheet is painstakingly made by hand and dried by the sun before being bound in leather and carefully hand stitched. L25cm x W19cm
