These are amazing, large, round, faceted pink tourmaline gemstone beads with a slight peachy tone, ranging in size from 20 to 15 mm. Beautifully cut and polished, they have wonderful color variations and zoning, some striped, some almost transparent, some with tiny gas bubbles. Paired with vintage handmade Bali silver tube beads, small silver beads in between. All are recovered from unwearable pieces. Strung on new silver Forzatina or diamond cut cable chain for sturdiness, and finished with new silver crimp ends and a double hook clasp.
♦ Dimensions: 16.5 inches in length (42 cm). Center tourmaline bead is 20 mm (estimated 67 carats), 4 beads are 18 mm (estimated 49 carats each), 4 beads are 15 mm (estimated 28 carats each). Bali beads average 15 x 8 mm. Small silver beads: 20 are 3 mm, 2 are 5 mm. Weight is 87.2 grams.
♦ Markings: None. New chain, hook clasp and crimp ends are sterling silver. Vintage beads tested in 925 range.
