Rare vintage mid-century wooden soldier wine bottle holder, believed to be made in Spain, possibly attributed to Socover Hispania. This hand-painted wooden figure depicts a Berlin police officer wearing a classic spiked helmet (Pickelhaube) and opens to reveal a hidden compartment designed to hold a standard wine bottle. The figure features a hinged magnetic closure. The magnet is weaker due to age, which is common for vintage pieces of this era, but the holder remains fully functional and displays beautifully.
