Stef Uiterwaal (1889-1960) designed this Art Deco figurine for Glasfabriek Leerdam in the 1920's. The figurine was made around 1929-1930 and is made of frosted glass.
In 1925, the Leerdam factory director Cochius commissioned the Utrecht sculptor Stef Uiterwaal to design this beautiful figurine of the "Madonna with Child".
The artist mark is clearly displayed in the back.
The figurine is in great condition and it measures roughly 9-3/4" high by 2-1/4" at its widest point.
