Painted metal base shows minor scratching.
The yellow bamboo decoration appears to be some kind of hard plastic resin that was hand painted and applied directly onto the thick heavy glass ginger jar. The applied decoration is in fantastic condition with only a couple chipped spots that are not readily noticeable. You have to study the lamp to find them.
Picking out a shade for this lamp woukd be a lot of fun. There are so many ways to play it.
CORD & WIRING
The lamp has 3-way knob has been rewired. This appears to be a cord replaced in the last 30 years.
SHIPPING
It's big, thick heavy glass that requires a lot of bubble wrap and care to get to your door safely. Shippers charge extra for oversized box. I have a lot of experience shipping valuable lamps.
