This is a 1960 vintage CouCou doll, made in France by Cloudrey. Her name is Perrette.
At 17 inches tall she is dressed in her original folk attire - hard to finds these dolls in their original clothing!
Her body and legs are made of Polyflex while her head and arms are made of soft vinyl.
The back of her hairline is marked “Cloudry made in France”.
Her back bears the mark Polyflex and 2 words I can not make out along with a fleur de lis insignia.
Striking blue eyes that open and shut, brunette hair that is rooted and covered with a hairnet that is torn due to the straw hat, which is adorned with an Apple. Hat is in tact but does have a break in the straw.
“Lively Eyes Oscar 1960 CouCou Doll, Polyflex, Paris” tag is sewn into her apron. Also attached with a safety pin is a CouCou Cloudry gold toned charm with an elephant.
The bottom of her white Maryjane shoes are marked Cloudrey.
Doll is in excellent condition.
