This vintage artisan crafted leather purse from Mexico in a 70s saddlebag style features an unusual handwoven flap and tooled and painted flower and leaf designs, with accents of saddle stitching. The handwoven front flap with painted flowers is the most striking feature of this handbag and is set off by a beautiful turn lock closure. The purse has dimensions of approximately 9.5 inches in width at the widest part of the body, 8 inches in height, and 2.5 inches in depth.
The body of the purse is in good used condition. There are general signs of age-related wear, including a few marks and some scuffing. The leather has a lovely aged patina. The interior is clean with a few pen marks. The braided strap is in usable condition, firmly attached on both sides to the body of the bag. The strap shows some dryness and age-related wear, particularly some thinning of the leather in a few places.
