Gorgeous vintage Art Nouveau style Mother of Pearl brooch. Purchased at an estate sale, it has a rectangular piece of mother of Pearl that is prong set in a twisted silver frame, the silver is a pit metal and the piece is handmade. The colors from the Mother of Pearl are beautiful, especially when it reflects the light. It measures 1.5” x 1” and has a locking clasp. Would look beautiful on anyone. This is the type of pin I like to wear when with an open cardigan or duster. I pin it either above or below my chest to keep my favorite sweater closed. R1
