Vintage ceramic Donkey and Cart with Jugs Spice Rack - salt and pepper shakers

A Whimsical mid-century spice rack set, donkey before the cart! Fine ceramic set by Giftcraft made in Japan Circa early 1950s, features a fun and adorable donkey pulling a wire rack cart with four Brown drugs for spices. This is a very rare set as it typically only comes as a double jug set but this is a quad and typically the donkey and drugs are much smaller all this one is larger as you can see from the photo with the quarter for comparison. Unfortunately, the donkey does have a leg repair as you can see in the photos. The jugs are in excellent condition with the exception of a bit of chipped paint along the yellow rim of one of the jugs, all jugs have corks in place, no rust on wire rack, in overall good condition! A perfect piece for a retro diner! And you cannot see the donkeys broken leg if you turn him broken side away from you. Sold in as is vintage condition.
