Vintage Vecceli Italy Porcelain Egg Trinket Box Renaissance Courting Couple. Manufactured in Limoges, the porcelain centre of France, this lovely egg on three legs is fashioned in the style of Fabergé. It is hinged so that it opens in two halves and is transfer decorated with the gallant, romantic scenes much favoured by artists such as Fragonard. The rim and clasp are in gilded gold metal. Dimensions : Height : 4" and Diam : 2 1/4". The egg is in beautiful condition and the pillow inside does show a little tiny hole as you can see in photos but nothing really visible.
