The print surface shows gentle age toning consistent with period production and long-term framing, most noticeable in lighter sky and water areas. The mount shows light age toning and minor handling marks, including a small crease near the upper inner edge. The wooden frame displays honest wear throughout, including light scuffs, edge knocks and small areas of finish wear consistent with domestic display. These are cosmetic and do not detract from overall presentation. The glass has a damaged corner, with a section chipped away and visible cracking extending from the corner, as shown clearly in the photos. The original metal retaining clips that secure the backing are missing, resulting in the backing board sitting loose within the frame. The artwork itself is unaffected, however the frame will require new clips or re-securing during reframing or glass replacement. The reverse retains its original MDF backing board secured with masking tape, original hanging wire, and a printed Gill Butterfield, Bath Art Pictures gallery label, all consistent with 1970s British framing. ★ Details & Features Limited edition British coastal art print depicting Robin Hood’s Bay, North Yorkshire, viewed from an elevated position above the shoreline.
